did anyone get the PS3 and Wii?

I "camped" all night and got a Wii. Definitely worth the cold and lack of sleep. I don't think you can actually compare the two systems (I do NOT have a PS3) But my understanding is that they have 2 different purposes and are not competing with each other. I'm sure the PS3 has awesome graphics, and all the nifty stuff it says and is probably better for hardcore gamers who are happy playing their games by themselves. The Wii is more FUN. The sports games make you stand up, swing your arms around (which I'm sure looks hilarious to anyone who doesn't know what you're doing) and be a real part of the game. I bowled a game this afternoon, and my shoulder actually hurt - it was GREAT. The Wii system is for those who want to gather a group of friends and play together. Now my boyfriend was also able to spend a large chunk of the day playing Zelda by himself. It's cool too because in addition to the sound coming from the tv, it comes out of your remote too (and the remotes rumble/vibrate).
I guess as to which is better, it depends on what you want out of a system. :)

I'll wait till these prices go down to normal say the official retail price tag of $600 not $999 or $1400 like stupid people with more money then brains are paying. This guy did get one and people donated money to him so he could do this!!!?? Damn Idiots

i got 2 ps3...well me and my bro.....sold them both for 3800 and 3500...nice dough...and if u say u have better things to do then wait in line..hahahaha loser....u could have worked everyday i waited 24/7 and still not have made half of that.....so trust me u couldnt be that busy to wait.....your losss

Didn't get either. I have better things to do with my time than to wait in line overnight. Sigh.... I'll just have to wait until things blow over.
