Are you forgetting...the purveyors of those loud-mouth ads think you might take advantage of commercial time to visit the bathroom or check on that roast in the oven. So they max-out the volume, knowing that - in spite of hell - they must keep the name of their product on our little minds.
It's Madison Avenue's obeisance to the Hollywood Truism: There's no such thing as 'bad' publicity. There's just publicity.
I'm with you...sometimes wish I could strangle those Loud-mouths

I know what you mean. Maybe if they make it annoying it'll be memorable. See how you were able to recall the example commercials you listed (EZ Off Bam)? They're probably counting on you to remember that when you need to buy some oven cleaner. I even heard that the volume of the commercials is higher than the show you were watching before the commercials came on. It sounds drastic, but the advertising field must be competitve for them to go through all of that trouble to get on our nerves...

I guess they just want to get their point across. And yes, the new Clipse album is a huge event. It's been like four years since their debut album and it was the business.

They're designed to be heard wherever you go in your house. This is a proven fact. I mute the commercials when I get up or even when they come on.

cuz thats the only way they'll get our attention. I actually heard somewhere that the commercial gets ouder cuz they actually put up the volume at the tv station on purpose to get your attention.

I'm not that dumb... I've noticed the yelling and hate it... but some people are that stupid apparently, b/c they wouldn't use it over and over if it didn't work...
