The ironing board.

Carver invented peanut butter, adhesives, bleach, chili sauce, ink, instant coffee, linoleum, mayonnaise, paper, plastic, pavement, shaving cream, talcum powder and more.

Matzeliger invented an automatic method for lasting shoes, which made the mass production of affordable shoes possible.


Dr. Charles Richard Drew invented the possibility of blood banks.

George Washington Carver made huge advances in agriculture, Sarah Boone invented the precursor to the modern ironing board, Henry Brown invented the strongbox, and George Grant invented the golf tee, just to name a few.

Dr Charles Drew, who invented open heart surgery and the blood transfusion (and died because a segregated hospital denied him a blood transfusion due to his race!)

There were other great Black inventors as well - like the Bell Labs scientist who invented the cell phone, and the engineer who invented the "third rail" (the electric rail used to power subway trains)

Eli Whitney was white though some historians think the cotton gin idea came from an African slave but it's impossible to prove.

Donald Cotton invented propellants for nuclear reactors.

It was a black man , who figured out how to transfer blood, The ironic part of the story's/ is he bleed to death because the hospital he went to did not take "***** patients", true story, but I can't remember his name, look it up under African history please, and let the rest of us get the full story.
