Why did you marry him/her? What changed in between? Why did you divorce?

I married my ex because of economics. I left my home and a good job with benefits to move 3,000 miles to live with him. I had no medical insurance with the job I had at the time and we both knew that birth control is not 100% effective and other emergencies could arise and that I needed to be covered under his insurance (he was military) however in those days military didn't cover unmarried partners. So we got married. What changed was us both realizing years later that neither one of us was actually cut out for marriage and that we actually weren't that compatible. After he retired from the military he got into the corporate world and began wanting the status and the "fluff" the "facade" of being a success while I prefered to remain in the real world making a life for my daughter. So we split.

my first marriage the reason we divorced is he had lied about who he was in the beginning he was all sweet and nice then shortly after we were married he showed the violent side and i said bye bye. now i am on marriage #2 and we have been together for quite some time now over 2yrs coming to 3 and i picked a better match this time round there will not be another divorce.

I married her - because I loved her.
Its changed - because I love her more now and she loves me
Divorce - well that's not happened because two people in love don't want to be apart!

my first marriage - he seemed to genuinely love me. I had feelings of fondess for him but not love. I divorced him and found someone I did love....
