Not very helpful mr_tasty_, but very funny none-the-less!
I guess the stereotypical genius is your nerdy-type with bad glasses, under-developed body, & terrible fashion sense.
It's always easy to target & make fun of those who are different from the main-stream.
It's also true that those not considered very smart are laughed at & made fun of.
It's also true that smart people (aka geniuses) make fun of those less endowed with brains.
It's a funny old world we live in!
What irritates me is that I have a brain & use it in practical matters, but so many choose to ignore what I have to say..then come back later & tell me "You were right!"..and then ignore what I have to say again!
I'd love to say "a pox on them", but in reality, it gets me down.
If you're someone being laughed at, keep your chin up, & remember that there are people who love and respect you for who & what you are to them, whether you're a genius or not!
Just make certain though, that you're not guilty of making fun of people different from you!

Often, people who are geniuses, think at a different level than the rest of us, what is so obvious to them, is complex to the rest of us.They don't always realize that rest of us , have a difficult time learning some things,My brother has 2 degrees 1 in mathematics, the other in computer programing, both are 4.00, *** cuday ,whatever t to me, he just dos,not get why, these sub jests are difficult to me. He doesn't think he is smarter, he just dos not get that it;s more difficult for me

It seems that people that are different from others cause some to laugh at them.
Those that would be called geniuses are not always well rounded individuals, they may do very poorly in some areas (Do real stupid things)

I think that's true because most of the people at their time were not ready for their "extreme" thoughts, take example Van Gogh, when he is alive nobody paying attention to his painting, but now... it's priceless, said the critics.
Another example is our own hero, Bill Gates. He was considered crazy when starting the microsoft, but now I think his thoughts become the most critical turning point for human history ;-p

It is true that very intelligent people have been made fun of or laughed at. Those who laugh are not as smart and consider the intelligent people and their ideas rather stupid or outlandish.
