what rights do they have when it comes to politics

Yes, they can vote. Of course, they probably have to vote the way their husband tells them to. LOL As if men knew all the answers!
They can get a divorce too.... but the children belong to the man. What mother would leave her child?
If you haven't seen it.... and can handle the emotions.... watch "Not Without My Daughter"..... which is a true story and will rip your heart out. I can't even imagine going through what that woman did to get herself and her daughter out of Iran and back to the states. It was terrifying!
Anyway..... I'm rambling.

Yes they could vote, any female that is over the age of 15 is allowed to vote in any election.
