If you tell them that, you might find yourself in more hot water. LOL I suspect your question is facetious, but just in case it isn't:
If the draft is reinstated, I doubt it will have the same rules as before, since so much discrimination was involved in it. They (the government folks who will make sure THEY AND THEIR LOVED ONES won't have to go) will set up the system with certain deferrments. In the past, college was a deferrment. Medical problems of course would get you out of it.
There was also the concientious objector status. This one required that you feel so strongly about war, that you would not aid a soldier wounded in the battlefield. Now, let's say it was on our soil. Would any human being really refuse to help a wounded man just because they disagree with the war???? I knew a man who tried to get out of the draft in Vietnam and when they asked him that question, he could not in all good concience say he would just let the man die and refuse to render aid. He ended up as a medic in the U.S. Marine Corps.
In the even they open a draft again, I sincerely believe the country will be in such emergency conditions that any REAL MEN in this country will line up to volunteer. I'm still not willing to draft women, although I served four years myself. Perhaps that is WHY I wouldn't draft women. I've seen enough to know better. :o)
Best Wishes,
Sue

If the draft is serious that kind of BS wont work. My old man told me stories of the drafts in the late 50s with no war on te horizin yet. A man in front of them dileberately fail the test to get and and scored a 30 and when he asked the sergeant what kind of score he needed to get in the sergeant said....with a smile 29

I wouldnt go that route. You can be charged as a traitor. Dont trust the Govt. The only way to possibly get out of it is by being an active Student in college or have to prove family hardship where you are the main family provider. For example if you had only one parent and that parent needs you around for income and personal care.

You can leave to Canada or Mexico, why would you say you want the enemy to win or your are against America? That would only make it worse for you because then they will try to consider you the terrorist

Don't forget, you will need a passport after 2007 to get back into the USA from Canada. Just tell them you're gay. Start shopping now for high heels and a suitable wig. Use your imagination.

Do you have issues with serving your country?
If you are against America, why not renounce your citizenship and go to a different country?
Actually, any one that is not prepared to serve in the services of the country where they claim citizenship, they should go some place else!
