Early morning can be the best part of the day, most people are still asleep, and the world is comparatively quiet and the day is fresh and clean. You can take your time getting dressed and eating break feast and going to work. You arrive un-hurried un-flustered and relaxed and in a good mood to start the working day.

This really depends on your personality. Some people are morning people and some people are night people. Morning people will insist that it is best to get up early, but night people often do their best work and best thinking late at night! You should go with what works for you. If you find that you are more of a night person, then adjust your schedule around that. The key is to be the most productive version of yourself that you can. That may or may not include getting up early in the morning!

You can't consider waking times without looking at sleeping times. You should also ask what are the advantages of going to sleep early as opposed to going to bed in the early hours. It's 8 am where I am and I haven't slept yet. Am I ahead of the early riser or behind?

i can't think what it is! but you've got to note that across the board despite gender, sexual orientation, height, weight, country of origin or whatever most truly successful people are target oriented individuals who started their days early.

lying there till the last morning shortens your life experience but oooh it's so sweet.

it's 6.14 in the morning as I write this. I'm not one of the successful early birds I described, I'm at the other end; the guys who haven't slept yet at this time. i'm gonna be having one loong lie-in till the last last minute I can find.

:-)

You can get your work done a lot quicker with no one around you.You are alert and fresh. You can then do what you like in your own sweet time and if you are at home you can relax and do the things that you really want to do. If you get up late you cannot finish your work without rushing around, feeling exhausted and getting irritated so its better to get up early and do everything calmly and be in a good mood. Hiya ....like a nice cup of tea or coffee ? ;)

I'd love to be able to relax till the last minute, but my body clock won't let me. I'm up early every day, no matter what, it's a pain.

And what the answer above said!

Early morning is the best time for getting fresh air. It is the time when the mind is free of distractive thoughts, plus one does not need to rush up for work at the last time. as plenty of time is there for any kind of preparations.

For a centipede, I really do not think there is much advantage for you. You do most of your crawling around in the dark and in murky creepy places. But for a human being there is the advantage of beating the traffic and meeting appointments.

You'll go to sleep more easily at bedtime! But as long as you like to scramble under pressure rather than taking stock of the day ahead, there's no other advantage.

- It makes the day longer
- In the morning, I find my brain is much more agile and this makes me more productive and efficient. (probably because well rested and regenerated).
- Gives me time to have a good breakfast.
- If you start earlier at work you can generally go home earlier in the evening and spend quality time with the family!

Good luck..buy an alarm clock!

cheers
