I'm tired of being a goodie goodie! My mom has me like a prisoner in my room all i need are bars on my windows! i can't go anywhere! I get straight A's in school, i'm a honor roll student! i just don't know what to do and if i even talk back, i get slapped. And one thing is so wierd, how does my mom know what i'm planning and thinking? GRRR!!

I dearly love my mom, all i ask is for space. I don't mean to act spoiled or childish is that I'm 16, I deserve more privacy. But yeah I do understand why she is on my back all the time she really cares. Is just space, my mom won't understand she'll think i'm in drugs or something idk

I'm asking space because of the following:
She emails/ calls my friends when I'm not out
She groes through my computer
She deleted my MySpace 4 times.
I can't shut my door, I have to leave it open.
I can't be on the cell phone (even though I pay for it) for more then 2 minutes.
Since I'm the 3rd youngest of 12 kids, she has been more of a "hawsk" eye on me then my older borthers and sisters.

I am a mom and even I think that your mom is a little too involved. My daughter reminds me sometimes that I don't need to bo all "up in her grill" then we have to have a talk about her safety being my concern and we actually both think about if we were in the wrong. She knows I check her call history because we have a problem with late night callers but now she is okay with me checking. She has nothing to hide while I can make sure she is playing by the rules.
I know this is way more than her friends parents check as far as cell activity, but she knows I love her and she gets to have me off her back as long as the rules are followed.
I think parents who do not know what the kids are doing are asking for trouble, but, gosh! They have to also realize that teens need a little give in that leash to make their own decisions and see if they are capable of being responsible. Your parent will never trust you if you are not given the chance to prove you can be trusted. Tell mom you want an adult conversation and will she please hear you out before she jumps in. You may want to not tell her you want to "get into trouble" though.
You seem like a kid that any lucky parent would love to have as far as your studies, but please check your attitude before you talk with mom and no matter how angry you get keep your self calm and dont play the blame game. She will shut you down real quick. "I feel like" tells her that you are not attacking her but you need to work out stuff together.

Your mum is an all controlling paranoid freak, she couldnt ask for anything better, if anything she would want you to socialise, not be a nerd with no friends and then she attacks you about who are you talking to . What more can she want? She must have something drastically wrong in her life to behave the way she is. Maybe you have done something that you think she doesnt know but she really does? As for the slapping, just slap her back one day, see how she likes being slapped for no reason. You should show her this question and answer, it may open her eyes

cause she was a kid once. she is just trting to keep you smart and safe. keep you on the right path. getting in trouble is not all it is cracked up to be and neither are things that result from running the streets, having sex or other things kids do when they are unsupervised. she shouldn't slap you all the time, she should talk to you. instead of being mouthy, try talking to your mom like a friend. she will appreciate it a lot if you show her respect.

Your mom "bugs" you so much because she wants to keep you a straight A student and on the honor roll. Ask yourself this. If your mom didn't bug you and stay on you like she does do you think you would be the person that you are??

as a mom i don't have faith your mom loves your little brothers or sisters greater desirable than you. my toddlers suggested the comparable element now and returned. each and every baby takes up time in a diverse way, and as mom and dad we attempt to strengthen are youngsters as superb we are able to. that's no longer a mom and dad activity to be your chum or pal. that's there activity to get you to adulthood the main secure and superb man or woman they might help mildew you into.

Maybe cuz she's your mom and you have to do whatever the hell she says and if you don't you get the boot. She knows what's best for you. It's called respecting your parents. Now if you're 18 already, that's a whole other story, if you don't wanna listen to her then move.

Grow up!
She is your mother and she is paying for that phone. She has every right to ask who is calling. You sound like a very childish, spoiled brat and you don't deserve that phone. You need to learn to respect your mother.
