I would call you doctor because to much diarrhea can make you dehydrated which is not good.

It could be any number of things. Perhaps it could be something new in your diet, stress, parasites, or it could be irritable bowel syndrome. Also keep in mind that some illnesses are "silent" in other words you might not have pain or fever but it doesnt always mean that there's no cause for concern. And then again, you are pregnant and a woman's body can do some weird things at that time and you will get back to normal in a couple of months. Consult with your doctor

In late pregnancy, hormones can cause all sorts of problems with your bowels, so yes, it can be normal even though most pregnant women tend towards constipation.

However, you do need to be careful that you're not suffering from dehydration or malabsorption of nutrients, both which can hurt your baby.

If you're really worried, give your doctor a call, otherwise bring it up at your next prenatal appointment.

Dr. Spock (see link) suggests that some women may have a reaction to their prenatal vitamin. Maybe see if your doctor can give you a sample of a different brand to see if that can be the cause (I would prefer that to just skipping the vitamin as Dr. Spock suggests)

It is unusual and definitely not healthy to have diarrhea at any time. From past experiences, I know that when pregnant, a doctor usually has to prescribe stool softeners. Bottom line....check with your doctor and see what he/she tells you as that would be the best thing to do.

I don't really know what could be causing you to have diarrhea, but when I was pregnant I had severe diahrrea my last 2 months. And my problem was gallbladder disease.

Good Luck and God Bless
