Because it was in Denver, and the Chargers defense is riddled with injuries. The reality is the Chargers are just a much better football team than Denver, and Denver won't stand a chance when they meet again in SD and the Chargers have their defense back. So much for the Chargers falling apart without Merriman huh?

For Don J: Martyball is dead, get over it. Cam Cameron calls the plays on offense now, and the Chargers score... alot. You would know that if you weren't living in the past. And weren't you the guy who said that Rivers would end up being an "UGLY" choice for the Chargers? How's that foot of yours taste?

Well the Broncos D had been good against the run and the game WAS in Denver, but LT is in such a zone now nobody will stop them until they play my Patriots in the playoffs

History is the number one factor here;most people would consider LT to be halft the SD offense and has never rushed for 100 yards in Denver and SD was 2-5 in Mile High Stadium.

This game, on paper, could have gone either way. Had Plummer played a quality end to the game, we might have seen Elam kicking a last second field goal.

As a Bronco fan, it was heartbreaking...as a football fan, it was a fantastic game.

As you will discover LONG before February rolls around, young man, as great as LT and Rivers may be, they are coached by a man named Marty Schottenheimer.

In his 20 years as a head coach, Marty has one of the best all-time regular season win-lose records in the NFL and without a doubt, about the WORST playoff record in the history of the league! He has NEVER won a conference championship let alone even BEEN to a Superbowl. When the season ends, Marty wanders off somewhere leaving his poor team to face utter humiliation on the field. It was true with the Browns, KC, Redskins and now the poor Chargers.

It won't matter how well you play the rest of the season, you can win the rest of the games you have and take the division, it won't change a thing. Come the playoffs it will be "one-and-out" because with Schottenheimer it ALWAYS is! (Usually BADLY!)

(He'll probably lose 38-3 against the Jags in the first round........)

Well, there's always "Any given Sunday".
I thought that they were evenly matched going in but it looks like the Chargers are playing at playoff levels right now. They better watch that they don't peak too soon. They played a great game tonight but there's still a lot of football to go in the season. The D seemed to come a little unglued during their last stand in that game.
I was rootin for them anyway. If my Steelers can't pull it off this season, I can't think of a more deserving coach than Schottenheimer to go to the dance for the AFC.

Because Denver is one of the hardest places for opposing teams to win at.

because denver is actually a better team and one of the best in the league.
plummer needs to learn that all you have to do is throw the ball up to walker and he will catch it.
the only defender to defend walker is champ bailey, and what do you nkow they're teammates.
