i mean its just a toy i dont undertstand why people go crazy about them they even end up killing each other i even see some people sleeping outside stores just to be the first in line to buy one its really sad .does it stop world hunger...whats so important about it???

jesus christ people are crazy i wouldnt spend money to buy one of those things its pointless having to get pulled on and touched why waiting in line even cussed at and pushed oh hell no im not that cazy i could understand why people would sell it on ebay thats pretty smart but i wouldnt buy one to play lol thats just weird..i just laugh at the people who actually wait in line for days just to be first lol i even took pictures of them sleeping outside Best Buy lol

I saw one a couple days ago that was $50,000+ ...... it got pulled, but I've still seen some $15,000 bids

We have given in into consumerism. SO sad. I'm against most stuff like this in addition to brand names. I just buy what I need and get as much as I need. My neighbor buy into brands and you can see them goign from month to month because of their brand behavior. I wish I can advise them about their financial situations but I do not dare.

I agree it is sad, these people need to get a life,
I enjoy playing video games but there are allot more important things to do with your life,
Not to mention they freaking cost 600$
I don't know about you but i don't need to play video games that bad.

Because a lot of people out there are very very stupid. I wish it wasn't true but it is. I'm not saying it's dumb to want a PS 3 - I want one, but to use guns to rob people to get one???? Nuts.

um...because they can purchase it for $600 and sell it on ebay for $5000. i saw one that got sold for $50,000 and another for $10,000. that's why, it's not like they keep the system...cause that's just stupid. they get it to make profit~!

well some people buy it beacuse they really want to play it, some want to resell for money, and others just get it because they think its really cool to just own one.
