Well, you haven't given MANY details, so that makes me question HOW you are losing this weight.

If you are doing drugs, that can do it.
If you are bulemic, that can do it too.

If any of the above applies, you need to see not only an M.D. but also a mental health counselor for treatment.

If they do not apply, then I suggest RUN, don't walk to your nearest doctor. It is not normal, or healthy, to be losing that much weight in one week, UNLESS you have just started a new diet plan (within 2 weeks ago) with some diet plans losing that much weight your first two weeks is not that uncommon, but it slows down to about 1-2 pounds a week after the first 2 weeks. If you are not on a diet of any kind, then I would definitely see a doctor ASAP. You could have an overactive thyroid, or possibly have become infected with a parasitic worm, or possibly have other more serious conditions possibly in your lymphatic system(like with your white blood cells and such which could be a sign of tumors and/or cancer) Do you still get hungry? Do you have any other symptoms like fatigue? weakness? dark urine? Like I said, without having details it's hard to say, and I'm not a medical doctor, but I do suggest you see one as soon as possible. Good luck to you.

you need to run to the doctor not walk . this is serious how long has it been going on for . it is definetely not normal to lose that much each week when you are eating. I don't want to scare you but it could be a sign of something serious so get to the doctor like tomorrow. Good luck and god bless

First go to your doctor. If the doctor says there's nothing wrong with you, then you're one of those lucky people who are born naturally skinny. [Consider being a model] Unless you do drugs or take one of those dietary supplements or you have an eating disorder, that could greatly effect your health, and you would need help.

Have you been to your GP??

If not, go there TODAY, and ask a referal to an internal specialist.

You didn't say how much your weight is right now.....but if you keep on losing weight the rate you are doing, and you don't take any action (such as going to your GP today for a referal), you may get very weak indeed!!

Good luck!!!

If this continues happening see a doctor. What types of foods are you eating, and what do you weigh also how much do you work out each week?

You need to go to the doctor ... asap. You might have hyperthyroidism and yes... you could have what is called "thryoid storm" and it can kill you. That is just not normal. I had a hyper thyroid for years and could not gain weight for anything. Go to the doctor.

Go to the doctor. It could be something as simple as a thyroid problem. Easily fixed with medication. Or maybe you have something more serious.
