In nevada, yes. My government teacher's daughter was a freshman when I was a senior, and she was on the volleyball team....but one thing to consider: if the teacher does something to a student, like give them a bad grade, there is always the chance that the student will take it out on the kid

yes, it is not uncommon for teachers to have their own kids at the same school. The school where a work at a lot of teachers have their kids at the same school and even have them transferred from the schools they are supposed to attend. I myself was transferred to a different school when I was younger because my mom wanted me a the same school she taught.

Yes. There is no rule on it as such, but normally you cannot teach your child. There have been issues in schools here in Aus, the other students kick up a stink and call it favouritism

yes, in fact if you live out side the "zone" for that school but your parent works there, they can get you into that school.

yes! and I always felt a little sorry for them. They really had to be well behaved, unlike the rest of us, we had our moments our folks never knew about.
