love has its own way of telling the truth by not hurting ur love one. there are things that are better left unsaid and i agree with that but at the end of the day, those unsaid stories u had will haunt u in any way..so its better to lay everything on tha table and show ur real skin, if ur love one will appreciate ur truthfulness and accept ur past and cherish the person u are now and u were before, then u found a true love urself. but once that person will persecute u and condemn u bec of ur past, its time for u to move on, we are not born with a perfect reasoning and we all have our own atories to tell, the most impotant thing is that u found someone to love u for who u are and cherish every bits of u. i remember a guy friend of mine, way back in college...he said i'd rather date a prostitute than date a sweet girl who at the later i will find out to be as worse as a w***re.
teliing a lie is a no no in a relationship dear, always remember that!!!!

depends if the truth will hurt the one you love or hurt yourself... if it will do no good to tell the one you love about the truth, then no harm will come off not telling, however if it something that will come out regardless it is better to hear about from you. On the other hand if you are content to live the guilt of what you have done for the rest of your life it is for yourself to decide if you are stronge enough for that because it can be harder then not telling the truth in the first place.

Not knowing the truth about something ultimately always hurts more because living a lie does an even greater injury. Be sensitive to the person, but be honest and direct.

it is hard to tell the truth to someone you love if the truth will hurt them. but i think it's better to tell the truth anyway. i would rather tell the truth and be honest than tell a lie and live with that fact

Tough one, but i have to say: Honesty IS the best policy!! Would YOU want the truth in the same circumstance, or would you rather be lied to? Really, NOT telling the truth could also hurt the one you love. Best of Luck to you...

What are the consequences of keeping it a secret? Sometimes you should avoid the truth as it's hurtful and brings no value to your relationship. It depends entirely on what it's all about, I guess.

truth.
lying hurts the person you love. telling the truth hurts you. this is the fact. people justify lying because the truth hurts them and they are selfish. people should grow up and tell the truth. life goes on without them.

anyone who says they would ALWAYS tell the truth is lying!!! it is very hard to tell the truth if it hurts the people you love.
you SHOULD always tell the truth but sometimes it's just too hard. i guess it depends on what the truth is. if someone asks you...Does this color look nice on me? Well, no big deal...sure it does. But if they ask you...Did you really see my husband cheating on me? Then...this is when the hard part comes in. But you SHOULD tell them the truth.
