The two of you could have been incompatible or your body may not have been ovulating properly at the time. But if you haven't spoken to someone in 7 years you probably shouldn't call up and say "hey how are ya. Umm, I'm married and pregnant now and you're most likely sterile... what's that? Living with your mom? Giving her a pedicure? Oh- I'll let you go then." Your life may be so much better than his now that he might think you're attempting to rub it in or to make him hurt. I'd let him figure it out- he may already know. It would definitely be an awkward conversation!

Just because you guys did not get pregnant while you were together DOES NOT necessarily mean this man is sterile. You don't know if he is able to make a baby or not. If he is sterile, he will find out when the time is right. You need to leave him alone.

I also had a similar situation and thought it was him after I got pregnant with someone else I was sure he was sterile then 7 years later I ran into him and found out he also had a child with someone else. So I guess he wasn't. Maybe God knew you guys wouldn't last and did you a favor.

NOPE......let him wonder about it when they are still no baby for him. Maybe he'll bump into you at a store and see your little one. Then again it could have been you were just not ovualting and now you are.....or the big guy in the sky KNEW you 2 didn't belong together. TIming wasn't right for a baby.
Now your married and expecting......why even give him a second thought.

Yeah, if you guys aren't real close still, then I wouldn't say anything. Maybe if he knows you are pregnant, he can put two and two together. But it isn't proper to tell an ex they are sterile. He may not take it too well, either.

honey, just cuz you couldn't get pregnant with him doesn't mean that he's sterile. My hubby and i TRIED to get me pregnant for quite some time-and nothing. then one day we found out i was pregnant-with twins! it's all a matter of timing, sometimes positioning. it can actually be hard to make a baby. so i wouldn't tell him something like that. . . no.

It might not be him. A third of the time it's the woman, a third of the time it's the man, and a third of the time it's the combination of the two. I wouldn't tell him that way. If you happen to talk to him you might mention you are pregnant. Otherwise it seems cruel.

Depends. I wouldn't think so b/c if he has moved on and found someone else and they are trying to start a family, he'll put 2 and 2 together and figure it out on his own. If you are on speaking terms, I wouldn't b/c it may hurt his ego and cause a rift between you 2.
Good luck with your marriage and new baby, CONGRATULATIONS!!

Let him figure it out on his own. You being pregnant and telling him "Oh by the way, you can't have babies, just isn't right.
