No never, these days everything that comes under media coverage becomes important. Remembers personalities - Ghesing ?? A person from very small area from a tiny State.
What is media "A commercial Arena" earning through their unimporatant coverages. Now they've named Indian Cricket team as "Team India" ? And Cricket is another areana or career to make money by gaining entry in team by any means be it calibre, regional affliation of condemnation of other big-wigs who are opposed to reining "BCCI Chief".
Players are important as they come to Team through their own efforts, but never through the available BCCI Coach. Coaches are just a Show Piece, the BCCI keeps as White Elephant. Do we ever remember Coaches of yester years of 1983 in days of Bedi, Kapil, Gavaskar etc etc.
