Overall, yes... I am. I was born here and will die here, hopefully. I'm very proud of what American USED to stand for and hopefully will stand for again someday.
I'm ashamed of our government right now and I'm ashamed of the intolerance practiced by huge groups of people in this country. I'm ashamed that people can't be more accepting of EVERYONE here and feel the need to force their views on everyone and feel they need to pass laws based on beliefs rather than need.
But the country and it's history... yes, I'm immensely proud to be an American.

I'm comfortable and grateful to be an citizen of the United States of America. I don't understand it's ongoings enough to say that I'm proud.

Most definitely!
God Bless the U.S.A.
By Lee Greenwood
If tomorrow all the things were gone I’d worked for all my life,
And I had to start again with just my children and my wife.
I’d thank my lucky stars to be living here today,
‘Cause the flag still stands for freedom and they can’t take that away.
And I’m proud to be an American where at least I know I’m free.
And I won’t forget the men who died, who gave that right to me.
And I’d gladly stand up next to you and defend her still today.
‘Cause there ain’t no doubt I love this land God bless the U.S.A.
From the lakes of Minnesota, to the hills of Tennessee,
across the plains of Texas, from sea to shining sea,
From Detroit down to Houston and New York to LA,
Well, there’s pride in every American heart,
and it’s time to stand and say:
I’m proud to be an American where at least I know I’m free.
And I won’t forget the men who died, who gave that right to me.
And I’d gladly stand up next to you and defend her still today.
‘Cause there ain’t no doubt I love this land God bless the U.S.A.

Sometimes.
I'm grateful, though not always too proud, at least recently.
