Place the garment between layers of a brown paper grocery bag. Iron the bag (garment underneath) on a low setting....the wax will absorb onto the paper bag and off the garment. Keep switching to a clean part of the bag until the wax is melted/gone, then pre-treat and wash. Good Luck!

I would try to use some type of degreaser product such as greased lightning, purple power etc. spray it on and let it soak for a while...then come back and spray some more on and use either a butter knife or a brillo pad or a scrub brush to scrub it off.

I was able to get some out one time with this spray called Greased Lightning and a scrub brush. It was some work, but it came out.
