This is a serious question and a problem I've had to contend with for a long time.

Just be yourself. I've known hundreds of gays in my life. Some are flaming beyond belief... the "gay guys" you refer to, I guess. But most are regular people who have jobs, go out, date, and you'd never know they are gay.
It's a hard thing to balance, really... if you go to a city where there is a big gay population in which you can blend and find a life, you'll find a huge flaming population. But if you stay in middle America or smaller towns, you'll find very few flaming people... but also very little life either.
Just ignore the flamers... there are regular folks out there, more than you'd think.

Not sure what you mean when you say you are repulsed by "gay" guys, but maybe you mean the "flaming" girly-guy gays ... that's just one of the personalities, but not a trait of all. There are plenty of gay guys out there that have the same personality and behavior of a straight guy ... you'd never know he was gay unless you asked him.
If you are into guys, the right one is out there for you.

You can't be repulsed by gays in general, if you like men. Apparently, what you are repulsed by is "flamboyance".
I don't see any problem... there are plenty of MASCULINE homosexual men (like me) out there, for you to date.
In think that because flamboyant men are the only one's you can be sure are gay (before actually knowing them), you are under the impression that you hate gays.
Which is silly... because HOW ARE YOU SO SURE THAT THE GUYS YOU HAVE FOUND ATTRACTIVE ARE NOT IN FACT "DISCREET" GAYS??

seek some help to find yourself...you are probably gay but are so afraid of yourself that the thought of gay men scares you. Just get happy with who you are and what you like and you will probably start to find other gay couples not so bad...good luck
also maybe try to find a gay man that isnt so ..."OH MY GOD!!!!" (Don't get me wrong..I love all gays..) But maybe that aint your cup of tea...maybe you are into the quite serious type that dont like to let the world know they are gay. Ease your way into the scene

I like butch looking men, I agree some gays are a inch from looking like chicks. Also ask yrself what do YOU attract? Puzzy Guys or Butch Guys?

I would assume you're turned off by flamers. There are tons of gay men who are not flaming. They project themselves just like heterosexual men.
