It doesn't mean he's cheating, it just means that you should find someone better who isn't ugly and hateful towards you.

No, but it does mean he doesn't care about you and unless he's just an a hole and likes to be mean or he has something he wants to talk about and doesn't know how to bring it up, he's trying to push you away and end the relationship.
