Don't worry about the AP/Coaches polls. It is all about the BCS now, and if USC wins out they will be in the Championship Game. No one wants to see OSU vs Michigan again, because the controversy that would occur if Michigan wins.

Florida can blame their schedule for not being #2. They scheduled a Division 2 Western Carolina!!! This team is 2-7 in Division 2!!! Way to go Florida.

i think Ohio State beating Illinois 17-10 is just as bad as USC losing to a 7-4 Oregon State team if not worse. When will people understand that anybody can be defeated on any given saturday in college football??!?!? The officials and experts all agree if the Trojans win out they should be in the title game so why can't the haters comprehend? USC has lost 2 games in 3 years and they are still winning with 15 true freshmen on the field and for that they should be No.1 on my list.

The guy who mentioned Vince Young was funny cuz even though USC couldn't stop a running quaterback they still lost by only 3 points in the final second. The Trojans are for real man just look at those blue chip players that they recruit every year that's gotta show on the field.

People like ImaGman should never be allowed to post again after that. The rest of your schedule doesn't matter? Why the hell play 12 games then? We could just have everyone play 1. People need to stop looking at just one game and look at the entire season, and you can't tell me that the Pac Ten is that much worse than either the Big Ten (which has a whole ton of really bad teams) or the SEC. Add into that USC's non-conference schedule, which is head and shoulders and knees and toes above any other contender's non-conference schedule, including Ohio State.

The Trojans are close enough in the BCS that if they win out, they will pass Michigan.

I have 2 words for USC - Vince Young. USC couldn't get it done last season with Leinart, Bush, White, and the so called best team in college football history. What makes people think they can stop a player similar to Vince Young in Troy Smith, he would have a field day against USC. Even if USC wins out, they still don't deserve to go to the title game. The real #2 Michigan should get another shot at the Buckeyes.

No, they lost to an unranked team and Michigan lost to a team that is clearly the best in Division 1A football. There is a small difference . Florida should have number 2 before USC does.

According to LA radio, which is definitely not objective when it comes to USC, the Trojans will be listed as #2 on the BCS rankings this week.

The question is: who has USC beaten so far?
Three good opponents: Arkansas, Oregon and California.

On the other hand, Michigan has only beaten ND.

So if USC beats ND, then they deserve to be No. 2.
