i have had this on my lip for about 3 years now. and i cant get it to go away. any ideas. and it not a std or something. plz i really need to know how to get it off my lip.

its not a cold sore. ive had it too long for it to be tat.

It looks like your average everyday mole to me. Just pink/red because it's on your lip. You can get it removed safely with minimal scarring if you get it taken off by a dermatologist. Otherwise it's nothing to worry about, unless you start to see a blue coloring mixed with the pink/red. Abnormal colorings are usually cancerous moles, but you're still young so you shouldn't have to worry about them yet.
Moles can form anytime on you and vary in size as well as height. It seems like I notice a new one on myself almost everyday.

It could be a wart, but you really need to get it checked out with your local doctor, He might be able to freeze it off.

have you been picking it? if so you could of developed a scar. or it could be a reoccuring boil.
