I am trying to conceive....I am not due for my period until the 23rd (Thursday, about 4 more days). All pregnancy test have been negative (the last one I took was last night). I am definitely getting period symptoms (enlarged, tender breast, bloat, sweet cravings, all of which happens to me with EVERY period)....Could I be pregnant but have all tests be negative up until now plus getting period symptoms??

I forgot to mention that I ovulated on the 12th. Maybe it's too soon to be taking test??

It is WAY too soon for you to be taking a test if you just ovulated on the 12th. That only puts you at 7dpo (7 days past ovulation). Implantation (what most people refer to as conception) doesn't take place until 7-10dpo, and the earliest you should be testing is 12-14dpo. It's best to wait until you are at least a day later before you test - it will save you money AND worry!

Also, if you are going to be testing, test first thing in the morning when you get up to pee. That's when the hormone would be the most concentrated as it has been sitting overnight. Try using something like First Response Early Response or Equate - those two are the most sensitive brands out there. See the website below for more information on brand sensitivity.

I'm in the same boat,my partner and I so want and are ready to have a baby. I was suppose to get my period on Friday 17th Nov. So far I have had all the same symptoms as I would normally have if I was getting my period (cramps, bloat, tired) and nothing has happened. I too have taken a few pregnancy tests and all have come back negative. All advice given to me has been to wait till the end of the week and then go to doc if still no period and get blood test. All I can say to you is do the same and I wish you all the luck!!!!!! It will be a long wait...........

Yes..it is too soon to test. You could be pregnant. I would wait until at least the 23rd. I took test after test-even the ones that say "can be used as early as five days before a missed period" and still showed nothing until I was late. Women have to build up the hcg in the blood before it will synthesize into the urine. Just be patient and wait it out a few more days. Good luck.

P.s. Even a faint line is a positive line!!!

pregnancy symptoms and pms go hand in hand they are often the same. it is probably too early to tell by a home pregnancy test but you could go to your doctor and have a blood test done.

Use first morning urine. I am also experiencing the same symptoms. and the pregnancy tests aren't as good as we'd like to think.
