My daughter has been one of the most mellow, sweetest and smiley babies I have ever known. I didn't know babies could be so content 90% of the time.

On Friday she got her shots and since then she has been very hyper and seems to have extreme mood swings from laughing and crawling around quite happily to inconsolable. She squirms a lot more when I hold her like she doesn't want to be held. In some ways she seems more alert, but almost in a manic way.

Has anyone heard of such a thing? She seems basically healthy physically, but I'm a bit concerned.

I really believe her shots had nothing to do with this.I think that she is just at that age where she wants floor time more often and wants to be left alone.I also believe that as she becomes more mobile she wants something and has a idea how to get it but gets frustrated in the process. All babys go through this.If it was a reaction to a shot she would be crying a high pitch cry and it would be constant even for more then a day.I think she just wants to explore.Let her.The more floor time she gets the sooner she will walk.I can see why you would be concern but if you are really concern then take her to the ER or to docs first thing in the morning.

You can take her to the dr tomorrow just to make sure all it well, but usually for a few days after shots babies can be irritable. Also the shots can hurt their legs so that makes them cry too. Keep giving her some baby Tylenol to ease her pain, and call the dr in the morning.

See, this is why so many people are taking the time to actually reseach and question the substances they allow to be injected into their babies little bodies. Please do some research on the subject and be sure to file a formal vaccine reaction report with your doctor as well as VAERS which is the government database for adverse vaccine reactions.

It's common for babies to be cranky for a few days after vaccinations. If you are concerned about it, you should talk to a doctor or nurse.

Go to the doctor immediately, it sounds like she is having a reaction to the shots.

Check with the doctor. Write notes of how your little one is.
