No, Greenspan is still alive.

On November 16, 2006, economist Milton Friedman died. Friedman was the economist that much of the free world models thier economy after.

One thing notable about Greenspan, during his reign as Federal Reserve Chairman, mostly during a Bull Market, where millions have been made in the stock market; Greenspans personal financial portfolio actually consistantly lost money and he made his money from other sources, such as salary, speaking, books, etc., but never succeeded in the stock market.
