Why would a man who likes women want to become a woman?

Why wouldn't he just want to stay male if he is sexually attracted to women?

Having feelings about a person's own sexual identity generally has nothing to do with their sexual orientation. That is a common mistake but you should research it for a better understanding. Most of the time people want to change the physical charachteristics of their body because they feel that they are not truely that sex.

I think this is a good question. Ive talked with a few men that have been like this, they have always wanted to be a female but never would tell anyone about it. Talking with them I find different answers; some have told me its because they like the way women's clothing feel over mans. But they love women... I ask them why not just wear the clothing and be a man. Most have said deep inside they wish they were female from birth, others really dont know, other then they feel they want to be more like a girl because they dont like who they are as a man. Im not sure if becoming a woman would fix that, but they still like to imagine themselves as female.

So back to the real question; why would a man wish he was a female. like others have said, maybe deep inside they feel they are woman on the inside in a mans body. And about not wanting to be with a man if they changed, who knows they might find that being with a man isnt that bad in a womans body and if so then they can be a lesbian.

I think the question they need to ask, is do they want to be a woman for everyday normal activities. No sex and not being horny at the moment. Or is the only time you want to become a woman, is when your are horny, and want to touch yourself. If that is the situation, maybe its just a fulfillment for the moment, of imagining you are female and affects that part of the brain that likes to fantasize your dreams of being a woman or the idea of 2 women playing together. Anyway, I think the guys that are stimulated at the time of wanting to be female, just feel it then and not all the time.

Who you are attracted to sexually has no bearing on what gender you feel you are. From what you're saying, it sounds like if you like women, you must be a man (that's what I get from it, at least). But there are definitely such creatures that exist called lesbians- women who love women, and have no desire to be men. They have two components: 1) they like being women, and 2) they like other women.

For this hypothetical man of which you speak, he likes women, but doesn't want to be a man. Gender dysphoria- when the gender you feel inside doesn't match your body- is a very serious thing that many people feel. Try to imagine if you woke up with a body that felt all wrong- that's what this guy is feeling, and he's "straight"- likes women, so society tells him he's fine as is (because there's a horrible misconception that all transsexual women are attracted to men). This is what's going on- first taking care of gender identity, and then sexual attraction.

I know of transsexual women who have had their penises turned into vaginas and then wear strap-ons to penetrate their lesbian lovers. It sounds kooky, but it makes sense- that's what they want and who they feel they are.

I'd think it would have something to do with Benefit or Profit, I wouldn't have known it, some folks would be just they would thonk they would be better off if they really amde a real change to themselves,and having anything at all to be doing with authority would've enforced them to take their chance to.
They wouldn't think about the change on their justifiable re-condition afterward, such as that, there are narrow-minded travellers, anyway, it's not about the just in the post-justified enviromental change, say from a F1 Racer into Nurse,
