delete then defrag the hard drive.

Highlight the file , right click , and hit delete.... dont put in the trash bin....
also im not sure if images are cached as cookies or not but u might wanna do a disk clean up.. youll find it in the control panel.. that remove all evidence the picture was ever on the computer

You simply delete them. I can give you a link that deals with hard drive problems. Some RAM/hard drive problems can be easily fixed yourself by using easily available tools. I found the info at http://fixit.in useful. Try this site, if you can get what is required.

Do a search start >> search >> programs and music and find them. Then you can delete. You can also search by file extension such as *.jpg *.gif *.tif *.bmp or other picture extensions such as this

right click on the picture then choose delete. if you cant find the old picture, click start then press search (if u are using xp), click on picture and photos, then search, right cick the picture u want to delete..thats it! hope it helps...
