Call them either 11/24/06 or 11/26/06.
Im in the same situation you are. if you call and they have one they cant hold it for you, they said that its first come first serve .. You can also call your local EB Games or Target. Call all those places on those two days.

I want the Wii just as much as you do.

GOOD LUCK!

According to Nintendo, their manufacturers have been making them at a much faster pace than they had expected so they should be getting new shipments almost every week. Check back next weekend. If you call stores in advance they might be able to tell you exactly when their next shipment is coming and how many they are getting.

**EDIT: Another good place to check is Sears. We went 15 minutes before they opened this morning and got one no problem. A lot of places don't think to check at Sears because they're not well known as even having video game systems so if you're lucky you might be able to get one now.
