Hello:
First off, I would just like to make sure that you understand that having unprotected sex is not a safe thing to do. And even though you are on the pill, you should always use a condom to protect against STDs.
As for the pregnancy issue, even if you miss one pill, it takes one full ovulation cycle for the pill to be at full effectiveness. It is not true that it is okay to miss one pill. So everytime you miss a pill, you should consider yourself not protected from pregnancy for one full month.
And since your period will not be here until the 29th, my advice would be to go into a clinic and get tested that way. You can either go to a free clinic or a regular doctor's office. Just because you have been eating more and your breasts are tender it does not mean you are pregnant, however it does not mean that you are not pregnant either.
The only ways you will know for sure is by going to a clinic to have them test you, or if on the 29th you get your period. But that is a long time to wait, and if you are pregnant it is best to find out as soon as possible so you can decide which course of action you want to take.
I'm sorry that I can't be more reassuring, but anyone who tells you either way can not know 100% for sure, by reading your symptoms. So I hope that this advice works out for you.
I hope this helps, and good luck.

I think you should leave it for a couple of weeks..there's plenty of time for worrying & decision making after that.
One thing the other ladies haven't taken into account is how fertile you are. I was as fertile as a bunny..so I was advised to take my pill every day at the same time, with only a 1-hour variation being safe.
When I got pregnant, everyone knew before I told them. Some even knew before I did! It was all about my breasts..they got bigger, & the veins became more noticeable (not bigger or more prominent, just bluer!)
I don't know how old you are, or how long you've been on the pill, or what pill you're taking. All these things can matter.
If all works ok this time, you should probably consider the morning after pill next time you miss taking your regular one.
I hope you're taking iron & B12 supplements. If you're not, trust me, taking them will make you feel 100% better!

It looks like you took the test too soon. While First Response works before you miss your period, the best way to get an ACCURATE result is to take the test AFTER you miss your period. If you still don't get your period by the 5-7th of December, take the test again.
You can always be pregnant if you miss a pill, but you could also be having symptoms of PMS.
So...calm down, and let your body do it's thing. The more you stress, you could make your period late!

I would try to take in consideration how long you've been on the pill. If it's been awhile I wouldn't worry too much but still do a test if and when you don't get your period just to be sure one way or the other. And the day you missed your pill did you double up the next day?

Actually the pill does leave your body within one month of missing. Considering which pill you are on. My friend concieved exactly one month after stopping when they were ready to concieve. Wait a couple more days for another HPT or go get a blood test from your doctor. The tenderness could be weight gain & you may just have the munchies.

i think if you take your pill the way your supposed to, it should still be in your system even though you missed the two. if you arent taking it all the time there is a chance you could be. i dont know about the systems because the only one i had before i found out i was pregnant was tiredness and i didnt even equate that with being pregnant.

My breasts get sore with any change in hormones, especially at PMS time. There is always a small chance that you could be pregnant, no birth control is 100%...wait until you are due for your period and take another test if you haven't gotten it on time.

Just don't stress yourself out over this, if you don't want to be pregnant. Your mind is capable of giving you every symptom you can read and then you're period will be late b/c of stress. If the test comes back negative...they are very accurate, believe what the test says...so don't sweat it!

I wouldn't worry about it if I were you because one pill stays in your body for about 30hrs, so if you missed 1 pill you still had the hormones from the previous pill and when you are on the pill you DO NOT OVULATE, so I wouldn't worry about it at all, the test is right and you are not pregnant.

there is always a possibility but i wouldn't worry about to much unless you do miss your period. it takes a couple of for the birth control to stop working so unless you missed them to days in a row you should be OK
