I took my last b/c pill on Oct 21. I had my period to follow like I usaully do, but never started my next pack. I have been having unprotected sex since this time, however I have tested to see if I am PG, but it was NEG .

My question is...will I get my period before I have Ovulated? Or will my period still come even if I have not let Ovulated let.

Any suggestion would be thankful.
PS, how many months has it taking some women to get PG, once stopping b/c pills.I have been on the for 4.5 years.

It could take some time depending on your cycle. I stopped mine and was pregnant the next month.

It depends on your cycle length. It took me 7 mos.
Yes it is possible to menstruate with out ovulating (annovulation)

Description

While anovulation and its role in infertility seems simple, the condition itself is quite complicated. Anovulation can arise from a number of causes, ranging from diet and exercise to complex disruptions in the relationships between tiny glands in the brain that control our most basic functions. Anovulation can also be difficult to detect. Some women have seemingly normal menstrual periods even though they are not ovulating. Most often, women who do not ovulate also do not menstruate, a disorder known as amenorrhea, or do not menstruate regularly, a condition called oligomenorrhea. Because of this tendency, scant, erratic, short and/or painless menstrual cycles can sometimes alert a woman or her doctor to an anovulation problem. Physicians are now increasingly skilled at using modern diagnostic techniques and assisted reproductive technologies. It is important to consider individual differences among women. Some, for example, have extremely sound and well-structured endocrine feedback mechanisms, and ovulate like clockwork each month no matter what happens. Others have endocrine systems that are much more sensitive to interruption. Moreover, anovulation can also be caused by underlying diseases that seem completely unrelated to reproduction

You could have bleeding as a result of stopping the pill and because your hormones aren't normal yet, but it isn't officially called a period until after you ovulate.

It took me five months to get pregnant after stopping the pill but I had some other complications, i.e. endometriosis and fibroids. My friend stopped the pill and got pregnant the following month. It is different for everyone. Good luck.

I took the pill for 6.5 years, I quit it on March 13th and didn't get a period until May 3rd and got pregnant on that cycle, I did not ovulate the first month and I didn not have a period either until the second month, I am glad I got pregnant right away, I guess God did want me to have a little one. You have to give time to your body to get used to the change, before, the pills used to do it all for you now your body has to do it on its own. Relax!

it can take a while. it took me at least 4 months. u should only get ur period if u have ovulated. just like if u have a baby and breastfeed u can not have a period but its b/c u have not ovulated. as soon as ur cycle gets back on tract would be a good time to try and get pregnant.
