where the whole data of the internet traffic remails?

INTERNET IS CONTAIning the no of files & lots of web pages , documents , files etc..........I wanna know that where does this whole data exists?

It is hosted on different servers, we call them web-hosts.
These servers have 24x7 connection to the internet..so that websites can be accessed at all times. This is different from our home where we connect to the internet only when required. All the content of internet is distributed on diff servers..not on a single machine.

on servers all over the place ...... yahoo has huge webservers in there buildings that contian data... every web site u go to comes from a server some where there not just stored in 1 huge computer...
