Some describe the taste of blood as coppery. Others say it is salty sweet.
I think it depends on what the person or animal has been eating and drinking. The blood of a wino would taste very different than the blood of a Baptist after she eats her Sunday dinner with plenty of sweet tea.
Children's blood would taste different than the blood of an elderly person. Do you like veal? Squab?

haven't you ever cut yourself (accidentally),
then licked the wound?
i do it all the time since i was a kid.
your saliva actually has something in it that helps the healing process (like antibodies or w/e)
it's not so different from a very rare t-bone steak that's kinda bloody,
salty, metallic i suppose,
i don't really eat that much iron like nails and bolts, etc.

not really sure how to describe the taste, I know it's not sweet so I guess it kinda taste like vinegar.

Yeah, its like metallic/iron taste 'cause of hemoglobin which contains iron.
