All the time.
I promised myself I would loose ten pounds before I got pregnant, told my husband, told my trainer, and now, my inlaws are visiting and the two pounds I had already lost came back with the help of the Cheesecake Factory's key lime pie and Pappadeux's Blackened Mahi Mahi with a ton of dirty rice.
I also promised I wouldn't be mean to a certain someone but sat down before she did...in a chair she wanted...ha ha.
And, I promised my husband I would give him a massage before bed but I am too tired and my hands are typing this answer instead of rubbing his back...
It happens!

Oh yes, more than once. And I'm not just talking about sex. I have a 6 year old grand daughter who just doesn't know why I can't keep up with her. I often promise that tomorrow I will do this, or do that and when the time comes, I can't even move

In my whole life, I have only made one promise that I could not keep, and I have regretted that every single day of my life. Other than that, I have not since made a promise that I could not keep.
