Depends on what you want to get out of it.

If you are being strictly crass, then go for a professional major that seems to have a glut of graduates right now. By the time you have your degree there will be a demand again because everybody else is majoring in the fields that currently need people, and in four years there will be a glut there.

If you are speaking of the true value of going to college, then major in what interests you.

One that won't be of any use to you in the real world. Don't major in art if your going to be a writer, don't major in psychology if your going to paint houses, don't major in languages if your going to buy and sell houses. etc. If it's just an easy A, but you have no intention of making it work in your career, it's a dumb choice for a major.

Sure, like the one that you're not intersted in. There's also the one that you have no inclination (talent-wise) towards. There's also the one that you don't feel is the one that God wants you in. Lots to think about. I'm a Christian, so I say pray about it.

Yes - any major you don't want to do but are doing to please someone else. Follow your heart and not other people's - it's a whole lot easier to study about something you're passionate about, and better marks usually follow.
