Yes, for now. Take it up again tomorrow. Works wonders, really. Of course if it's *due* tomorrow, you're screwed. Plan better next time.

There's a lot of value in working with someone else, including other students. As you talk through your thought process with them, they can help you figure out where you're going wrong. When did you start having difficulty understanding? Did you miss some key concept? Did the teacher assume you already knew a key step?

My first physics professor told me that part of learning physics was to learn to feel like a failure and face the difficulties without giving up. I ended up with a physics degree!
My advice is to find someone who can explain the concepts to you in a format in which you can understand (using analogies, etc). Don't give up!

Hi. Physics is fascinating even if you don't 'get it' at first. It describes everything about how materials interact with energy, and how energy interacts with materials. It's OK not to understand at first, but you WILL have a better understanding of how complex the universe is. This all by itself is worth the effort.

Buy another book like "Schaum's Outline of Physics." It explains it in a better way than most teachers. Besides, it will frequently have your homework problems worked out in it.

Don't quit! Make another attempt...read the textbook slowly if you have one...and tomorrow ask the teacher for help, or someone in your class who is smart and nice.

Well, post some questions up maybe, or talk to your physics teacher. Your teacher is there to help you.
