What is with the ranking system used for collegiate football? Obviously Ohio State is in the running for a national title for the sheer fact that they're undefeated. But!!!! Look at who they play. Michigan is the only team that has given them a run for their money. I'd like to see them try to pull that **** in the SEC. Once in a while there's an undefeated team in that conference, but look at the roster; you have Florida, Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, LSU, Tennesse, and some other good schools. How come they don't often get a shot at the nationals?

Ohio State has PLAYED an SEC team in a bowl game EIGHT times. Ohio State has LOST to an SEC team in a bowl game EIGHT times. That is why they don't schedule SEC teams.

Over the years conferences rise and fall. This year is a down year for the Big 10. Also those teams in the SEC just are not as good as Ohio State this year.

if you think about it ... the amount of pts. they score makes up for their lack of a schedule.
