Sister, if he thinks he is gay, then he probably is. What he feels for you is probably more like the love he would have for a sister. What ever the case, he deserves the chance to go out an explore the world and figure out who and what he is - without you. Sever your relationship so that you have a chance at love yourself with someone who is more capable of giving you what you need. He is being honest and caring, but still asking you to hang on while he figures this out. You can end up being the best of friends at some point and he will thank you for that later, but right now, get out.

Honestly, I know you care about him, but I really think for both of you, you should give it a break. At the very least he is confused about what he wants, but more likely he is in denial. He needs to be free to discover who he is, and you need someone who is crazy about you in EVERY way. I'm sorry hun, it's a hard situation.
