Oh this is the guy who said that the sharks are still following the paths of the slave ships looking for slaves that have been thrown over.

You think if the Draft is reinstated that anyone who has any power would let their kids go to war? It would be like the draft before their kids would go to ROTC camp!!! Wake up.

Charles Rangel will probably be taken to the woodshed by Nancy Pelosi, just like John Kerry was a few days before the election. Rangel has his head up his rectum anyway because this all-volunteer military is made up of men and women from a broad economic spectrum of the population, not just poor folks.
May I correct you on something? About the sharks, I believe it was Congressman Major Owen who said sharks were still swimming the same route as the slave ships, waiting for a meal. He is another Democrat. And yet another liberal wack-job.

I think some politicians - bothDemocrat and Republican - don't know when an issue is dead. The draft reinstatement bill will never get through, but you're right to ask what the fallout will be from the open public disagreement.

Like it or not, Rangel is right, go on line anywhere and see how many congress peoples children are in Iraq, or how many rich kids are serving in the military. And as for imploding, it won't happen they're not like Bush, lying to the public to justify going to war with a secular nation.

There are going to be differences of opinion within the democratic party. That's not division that's normal politics. The reason it stands out now is because the republicans have been goose stepping behind the president for 6 years.

The Democrats always argue and fight. The Republicans think it's a bad thing when the entire party doesn't goose step in a straight line !!

Democrats must prioritize what is good for the country and not what is good for their party.
