At my school, no matter how much the teachers give you homework, you are only supposed to do 45 minutes per subject. If you still want good grades, take your time! Write out a schedule and throughout the day write everything you do. Then re-write it with the things you think aren't as important as homework. If you have a student council at your school, tell them! If not, ask your headmaster to start one.

I'd also recomend NOT going to bed so late. It's not good for you, both long and short term. You are supposed to sleep 8 hours minimum. Also, if you like to switch color pens for each number etc., don't. Just take one pen, take a sheet of paper plus your books. Turn off you messenger and cellphone. Make sure you are in a quiet place where no-one can distract you. Go after school to your library, in your room when your sibs (if you have any) are at some sport - anywhere is good as long as you can concentrate... except a place with music or outside. Once I did my homework outside and ants got on me, it started to rain and I had to redo all of my homework plus go to the doctor because my legs were completley red and my mom got freaked out. Also, no matter how much you don't want to do homework, do it. Set a time especially for it. As soon as you get from school. Have a snack ready in the fridge in the morning so as soon as you get from school you grab it, freshen up, do your homework.

Figure it this way: I have other things 2 do in life, so I shouldn't spend 2 much time doing it. But I shouldn't zip thru it all either. If u need help, ask an adult. If there are any rewards in yur class, like no hw passes, then think you really need 2 work hard an do this hw. Don't get distracted. But I'm only telling u a LITTLE bit of cheating advice:If u REALLY feel like procrasinating, just leave the 1 or 2 questions you REALLY don't get. But only do it once a week. Or a month. Everyone has their own paces. These kids in my class work really fast while the rest of us work at normal & slow speeds. When all of us work at our own paces, we get good grades. Think about all the other things u can do in life. Don't let anything bother u. Do easy HW first because u can finish it fast & do the rest with help.Just don't take extra time, don't get distracted, and remember: being slow doesn't mean you wont get good grades or are a hard worker, cause u are. Easy work 1st.This helps from 2 much time getting consumed. For any other concerns, ask another question. Good Luck!!!!!!!!!!!!! Even I used 2 be a slug. But my mom 'n dad did something that made me fast and on task.

Start homework earlier. Dont procrastinate. If you get an assignment that is due in 'one week' or whatever, get started on it that day! Work on little peices of it daily. Start homework when you get home from school, sit down and really set your mind to it without any distractions. Music is good usually, but TV is bad. Good luck on your homework and get some more sleep!

well watever you do don't not do your homework becuase thats the only thing you can control and make sure you get the maximum points. What you should do is not get distracted. for example when i have a paper to write I dab away at it all weekend, missing social events, and then finish it the last couple hours of sunday anyway. Don't search youtube, don't listen to music, don't go downstairs to play guitar. Just sit until you get your HW done. Maybe do some of it during lunch.

Dont do it...it will only bring your grade down.

No harm done, it is helping you become an irresponsible person.

Just keep in mind that the real wold is based on responsibilities, and obligations, as well as commitments.

your obligation is to go to school, your commitment is to want to learn and your responsibility is to do everything you are asked to do, wether you like it or not.

It is part of life....dont form the ugly habit of being irresponsible...just do it get it ober with and then do what ever you enjoy doing

Make sure that you are completely focussed on your work, i used to get distracted with food, music and tv all the time. If you are doing that already than try asking a teacher for advice.

dont listen to that first response, maids dont do your homework!
ok, so you can ask your teachers if they tutor, if not, then you can get a tutor, and you really shouldn't have to stay up that late because of homework so you should talk to your teachers or your school counselor and tell them that your spending unnessesary time on homework and that its not healthy.
hope i helped!

Well, you should set your priorities better, say if you're spending too long watching tv or something, you could cut down on that...and you could also see about getting a tutor to help you if you have issues with it.

You may be spacing out without realizing it...I have a little bit of A.D.D so i used to have to do one subject then switch over to another and go back and forth to keep myself interested and motivated.
