I'm 45 and have enjoyed every year for different reasons- when I was teenager I played a lot of sports on some good teams. When I was in my 20s I partied and dated a lot. In my 30s I bought a house and a nice car. In my 40s I started a family. Its all been great!!! I think being a teenager is tough. You need to find something constructive to focus on and not worry what everyone else thinks about it. If they make fun or pick on you just say "so what?" You'll find out later that the ones who poke fun and pick on you the most are the most insecure. In other words they divert focus to others before anyone has a chance to find something to tease them about.

Teen. Most defiantly my high school years were the best.
At the time--you think being a teenager is stressful and the worst time ever. Looking back though--you'll realize it's was the best time of your life. You'll also realize the things you stress about as a teen were not so important to stress over boys, parents, and friends.
I know being a teenager is hard and tough sometimes but enjoy it--do great in school, join activities, date boys, break hearts, have your heart broken, rebel, and have fun! That's what the teen years are all about. Best of luck!

Childhood was good, young adulthood was good. With age and experience comes much wisdom, so now that i'm middle-aged, i know i did some stupid stuff in my younger days.
For me, being a teen was the hardest ever. It's not the same for everybody, though. But if somebody tells you that you should be having the time of your life and that it's all downhill from where you are now - don't listen. Being a teen can be downright brutal, but you survive and grow and become a stronger adult. Then the fun begins. :)

I have great memories of my teenage years--but it is stressful and you feel like everyone wants you to act like a grown up but then they also want to tell you what to do. That part was yucky.
I think the best time of my life is right now. My kids are grown but I get to play with my grandkids when I want to. I am divorced so I can come and go as I please. If I get off work and want to go to my cabin instead of going home..I can. I don't have to answer to anyone. I can finally do what I want to do when I want to do it. If I want to make a purchase, I can make it without consulting another person, I can watch whatever on t.v. that I want to, I don't have to cook or clean for anyone but myself. And if I get lonely, I invite someone over.
Life is good. I have a sucky boss--but that is only a few hours a week (she isn't there much--lol).
Oh, my age--51--and I have been having this fun in my life since 42.

Consider me a young adult, but tell you what, going into adulthood is a lot more stressful than I thought.
Teens are much better. Just when everyone is hitting 18, all those bday parties. It was the best year of my life. Experienced so much wonderful things in life, fun and achievements.
Once you get to uni, expect your life to be, sleep, eat, study, study .......

Being only in my thirties, I can honestly say that my teenage years were my most stressful. However, I have yet to go through my oldest child's teenage years (13 yrs old) so they may end up being even more stressful. With alot more years left to experience, I can only hope that life will get easier but you can never tell.

No, you don't know what stress is yet! Enjoy your teen years, and cut out all the angst -it's not worth it!
The best time in my life was getting married, having a baby, and enjoying my husband and family now.

I just turned 33 and I feel I am entering the best days of my life. Teens are very hard, so is young adulthood.

My happiest years were my childhood and my daughter's childhood. My most stressful years have been my daughter's teen years.
