when i get a new birth certificate for my daughter, do i need to have her dads social security information or any other info? i dont knwo where he is if so. do court houses have vital records? thanks

Would'nt think so.Especially if your only replacing a lost document.If her biological is'nt about should be irrevelant.Even if you're changing the name(deed poll)you would'nt need this info

I just ordered my granddaughter's birth certificate from MD. I didn't need the Dad's info at all.
I just ordered my daughter's birth certificate from DC. I had to fax in my driver's license to prove I really existed.
