How do I sell cars in The Sims 2 Open for Business?

Question

I have the expansion packs installed in this order: The Sims 2, The Sims 2: Nightlife, and the Sims 2: Open for Business. I have not ran Nightlife yet. I have only ran Open for Business. First of all, I cannot build a garage or buy a car in my house in Open for Business, and I cannot buy any cars to sell in my Business even when I have the appropriate Car Sale Displays out... Do I have to run Nightlife first, Or what do I do?

you should have run nightlife first to update the game.

You will have to uninstall the game (yep all of it) and re-install it in order.

Install sims 2
test sims 2
install nightlife
test sims 2 and night life
install business
test sims 2 and nightlife and business

Did you buy nightlife the same night with open for business, so that you just installed the two expansion packs at once? I've done that before and then just ran the last one I installed, everything should be working fine no matter what. I did that with University and Nightlife. You might want to take this over to the BBS on sims2 and see what they have to say to get the best information, they are very helpful. You might just need to restart your computer, and if not try reinstalling.

Yes you have to run Nightlife first.....you should not have to reinstall them...just try going into downtown, then reboot the program...you should see a delay when you enter downtown the first time, it is loading the game, then try to buy a car in the buy mode....good luck
