I dont think you really get addicted, sometimes people tend to desire a craving and comfort to satisfy your needs...your needs maybe for soemthing that tastes good...its not healthy but its normal becausemany people live off of fastfood. Many americans lead busy hectic lives and dont feel like cooking a decent meal..so they run over to McDonalds or Burger King for something fast and easy. but you should try to cut back on it..maybe try shooting for eating it only once a week, jus make a plan and stick with it...and make sure you take the time to set aside certain meals that you are willing to make yourself. :-)

Yes it is possible. I work at Burger King and we get the same people in there all the time. I think they're addicted. It's like there is something in the food that just keeps you coming back. However I knew a guy who completly gave it up for 2 years. He said when he tried it again he didn't think it tasted good. Now he just doesn't eat it all.

Yes, your brain will begin to crave the effects fast food has on the body. Most of it has high glycemic load and tends to spike your blood sugar level giving you sort of a "high" that lets you down later. You may be able to counter the effect by choosing high protein and high fiber items. For example at Wendy's pick the chili or salad as a side vs. the fry or baked potato. For more info go to www.glycemicindex.com.

It IS really bad for you. Buy some easy things to make from home. That way when you are tempted to go get fast food you can eat that instead. I used to LIVE on fast food.....and then I found out that I'm allergic to wheat/rye/barley and can't eat ANY fast food or I'll get really sick. I never ever eat it anymore and I can't believe it, but I don't even miss it! If I can change my ways anyone can....believe me!

Most of America is addicted, it is food that tastes good, is cheap, and fast all of which make it very appealing to American families that live very busy lives.

Yes...I believe so anyway. I find that if I haven't had fast food (from any restaurant) I start to get head aches and the "shakes".
Plus if you watched "Super size me"...I think that is the name of the movie...a doctor says something to the effect of, if eaten often enough you will start to crave and have "withdrawal" symptoms like with any other drug.

you should go to a fast food place that has a real good salad. Drink a couple glasses of water before you go out to eat.
Your pocket book must be hurting. Fast food is expensive. :)

Lots of people are addicted to fast food - for that reason, it is so easy to get, prepare, buy, eat. etc.
