Turned the key to start vehicle now have no cranking of engine. Rechecked grounds, all ok. Tried extra key, still have same problem. Security light goes out after 5 secs like its suppose too. What could I have messed up? Car was running before I changed a.c. pump.

Do you hear any clicks or sounds when you turn the key ? Check your battery ground where it connects to engine. Check battery for charge level. Voltmeter on dash should read at least 12 volts with key on. Lights can burn with bad connections or low battery. The a/c comp. has nothing to do with it. Do you have a/c tools ? I am curious how you changed the comp. and recharged it.

did you disconnect the battery? If so you will have to call your dealer and have them reset the security code for the key.
