I am an internet marketer and I've been doing this for a couple years now. I just ran across something today that is really interesting.
THis guy has a very popular website with clickbank and other affiliate programs but he's offering his system for half price. It comes with a guarantee...that's why I felt safe to buy it...and I bought it. NEedless to say I really enjoy it so far. It's taught me more about getting free traffic than I've ever learned looking at free materials on the net.
It only costs $19.95 right now, it normally sells for $49.95 but he's go this 200 people special, it's actually quite cool.
Check out the link if you want to really know how to get free traffic and make money online. I like it and he knows what he's talking about. Plus, compared to all the other sites I've bought from to learn more...his taught me the most.

Your best bet is to trawl around websites and swap links. Also submit your site to a lot of directories and search engines. It wont get you massive traffic, but you will get some. Why not advertise your site for free by using free classified ad sites? Once you start driving traffic to your site its value begins to increase.

yahoo and few other sites. look into banner exchanges or the latter day equivalent, joint ventures. exchange traffic with other webmasters. do affiliate programs. and lastly consider spending money for advertising but make it count.
