A condom not being used properly or not staying on properly always opens the door for the chance to get pregnant. When he ejaculates, it will fill the condom, all the way down the sides as well as in the tip. As it slips off, it will leave some on his penis that will have direct contact with your vagina, where it can swim up and meet with the egg. Statistically? Probably still only looking at a .1%-2% chance.

Yes. There would have been a chance even had it worked properly. What you did was better than nothing. But you should ALWAYS talk about what BOTH of you are going to do IF you get pregnant BEFORE having sex. It's also a good idea to use the contraceptive gel or foam WITH a Condom for this very reason.

I'm sorry to say that yes, you could be pregnant. The condom needs to be held in place as the man withdraws his penis, otherwise the condom can slip (and often does once the penis is no longer erect) and semen can leak out. It only takes a little semen (the stuff the man ejaculates that has sperm in it) to make you pregnant, but the likelihood is that you're not.
Remember that anytime you have sex you can become pregnant. It's good that you used a form of birth control, but there is no 100% guaranteed way of not becoming pregnant if you're sexually active and able to have kids. So please be careful.
Wishing you the best.

Your not going to like what I have to say. But yes, I have heard that there is. Condoms are not 100%. I'm not for sex before marriage and this is one reason why. Some advice that if you chose to do that, take a birth control pill as well. It protects you a little more. Of course the best protection is just to say no.

Blossom there is a chance ONLY because condoms are only 98% or so accurate in preventing pregnancies, however, it is unlikely. Unless Semen or sperm escaped the condom, it is highly unlikely that you were impregnated. Yes, sperm swim, but sperm are usually captured in the tip of the condom. I dont think they swim that well..lol.. I wouldnt worry... and kudos to you for practicing safe sex!!!

If there wasn't any sperm that leaked out of the condom you should be ok. I would call your gynecologists office and get some advice from the nurse they are trained in answering questions like this.

Yes. The best thing to do is go to your local pharmacy and pick up a Rx for Plan B. It is available over the counter now. Good Luck.

highly unlikely, but in the future you should have a secondary form of birth control (e.g. the sponge) and be more careful
