I was watching American History X last night, and that scene where Edward Norton's character splits the guy's head open on the curb with his foot made me flinch. Are there any other murder scenes in movies as brutal or more violent than that?

I vote for that scene. That scene actually made me cry and I refused to watch any more of it. I think he broke the kid's neck, didn't he? I thought he stepped on it and broke it against the curb instead of splitting it open, but whatever...it was still awful and traumatizing.

I think maybe some of the death scenes from Casino or Goodfellas might compare, but the one in AHX just got me because there was no drama to it...it seemed too real.

All the scene's in the Saw Trilogy.

And then there is this movie called "OLD BOY"
and there is a scene where the guy is extracting the other guy's teeth with pillers and then one where the guy cuts off his own tounge as a version of retribution.

UGH.

What? You recommend they are actually not one and the comparable? a number of my well known "comedies" have been honestly horror/slasher videos meant to be frightening, yet have been so ridiculous, they have been by hazard hilarious. i like them the two. It relies upon on what i'm interior the temper for.

Just saw TAXI DRIVER last night, and that was pretty gruesome toward the end, where Robert DeNiro shoots up a bunch of guys in an apartment building.

"Casino", where the strong arm guys take the one out that screwed up and beat him to death with a baseball bat. I can't even remember the actors right now, but I'll never forget that scene.
