Yes. I've taken the appropriate course every few years. So far, I've only had to use the knowledge about 7 times.

Know 1st Aid, CPR and most important common sense..yep. Could probably save them until the real experts get there.

I am trained in CPR, first aid, and using a defibrillator. Also trained to do physical therapy, although I am not a physical therapist.
