i am at work so my choices are limited. I can either get fast chinese food, a burger and fries, a burrito, or I can go to safeway and get an apple and a microwave dinner. What else could I make from safeway. I have access to a microwave and an oven.

apple and a fesh sandwich
you can buy a small amount of fresh turkey at the deli.
and you can buy a roll in the bakery
they usually have a condiments in the deli
avoid fast food

Wow you have a Safeway! I haven't seen a Safeway since I was a kid. I didn't know they existed anymore!
Well if you're craving fast food, go for what you want, but if you can't decide, might as well go for healthy. Most grocery delis have good salads and sandwiches. There also might be good (maybe fresh baked) bread of some type in the bakery (like individual roll, subs, etc. You could get that and lunch meat, and whatever else you like. Also grab a couple fresh fruits and veges.
Also Campbell's selects have some really good can soups.

Burrito. Take-out Chinese food makes you bloated, maybe it's all the salt.

You should get a sandwhich from the front of Safeway. They're a little costy but DELICIOUS!
